A little about me.

Lover of dogs, prosecco and spending time with my family. My passion for skincare and beauty treatments stems from personal experience, I suffer from hormonal imbalances and sensitive skin. Diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 14 I have fought battles I would never have known possible.

Having been on a multitude of medications and diets, hormonal monitoring and scans for this and that. I now know what works for me and have been fortunate to be able to gain back (some) control of my skin, hair and hormones.

I believe that you have to work hard for the results you desire but there are tools that can help you along the way, this is where some of my treatments come in. I love natural, glow-y skin and that just doesn't happen overnight. We can work together to work out your concerns and create a personalised treatment plan for you. Feel free to drop me a message and book in for a complimentary consultation - 07871876220.

All the best,

ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS

What are Anti Wrinkle Injections?

Do Anti Wrinkle Injections hurt? Everyone's pain threshold is different. Some clients generally compare the sensation to a sharp, quick prick. Some clients comment that they don't feel anything. There is a slight pinching feeling, but this only lasts a few seconds.

Do you use any anaesthetic? Anti wrinkle injections do not require any anaesthetic or numbing cream. However, a topical anaesthetic can be used if you wish. If this is something you wish to use please obtain this from your pharmacist and apply before your treatment as directed.

How often can I have a treatment? Anti wrinkle injections will take a couple of days after treatment to begin working and can take up to 2 weeks to see the full effect. Generally this treatment will last 3-5 months.

Can I have Anti Wrinkle Injections whilst Pregnant or Breastfeeding? We do not recommend this treatment to pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.

MALE ANTI WRINKLE "BROTOX"

Why is it more expensive for men to have Anti Wrinkle Injections? Typically men have a wider and larger space treat, purely down to the facial muscles under the skin. We therefore have more injections sites and administer more product.

How often can I have a treatment? Anti wrinkle injections will take a couple of days after treatment to begin working and can take up to 2 weeks to see the full effect. Generally this treatment will last 3-5 months.

CHEMICAL PEELS

What is a Chemical Peel? A chemical peel is a treatment used to improve the texture and feel of skin. We use Glyacolic acid to remove dead skin and toxins from the face and clean the surface of the skin through an exfoliation that tightens and forms the skin. Glyacolic acid is also thought to suppress the production of melanin, making it beneficial for reducing dark spots.

How often can I have a chemical peel? Each client is different on how frequently they will require each treatment, however we normally recommend a chemical peel every 4-6 weeks.

Can I have a chemical peel on my stretchmarks? Yes, you can have a chemical peel on nearly anywhere on the body - message us for a private consultation to discuss a plan and prices.

Can I have a Chemical Peel if Pregnant or Breastfeeding? We do not recommend this treatment to pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.

DERMAL FILLERS

What are Dermal Fillers? Fillers are a minimally invasive procedure, administered by an injection. Fillers are injected to smooth out skin, wrinkles and to augment facial features. They revitalise the skin and create volume by boosting the skin's supply of Hyaluronic Acid, which is naturally found in the skin.

Do Dermal Fillers hurt? It may feel uncomfortable but everyone's pain threshold is different. We will go through the process during your consultation so you know what to expect of your appointment.

Do you use any Anaesthetic? Yes, we use a numbing cream applied for 5 minutes before treatment. However if you wish to get your own numbing cream you can contact your pharmacist for come Emla cream and apply before attending your appointment, we can discuss this more at your consultation.

How often can I have Dermal Fillers? Dermal fillers will give an instant result and typically last 6-9 months, they are naturally absorbed by the body. You can have more filler after 4 weeks, as long as it has been performed by us previously. If you have had filler performed by a previous aesthetician and want more then please book in for a consultation to discuss a treatment plan.

Can I have Dermal Fillers whilst Pregnant or Breastfeeding? We do not recommend this treatment to pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.

DERMAPLANING

How often can I have a treatment? This treatment can be repeated every 3-4 weeks.

Does Dermaplaning hurt? Although the thought of using a blade on your face sounds painful, it is actually pain free and feels like feather strokes across your face. Clients comment that its much more enjoyable than waxing or threading! Occasionally there may be a small nick or scrape, but these will heal within 24-48hrs.

Will my hair grow back darker? No, there are different types of hair on the body. In this treatment we are removing Vellus hairs, which grown back at the same rate and thickness as the previous hairs.

What other treatments can I have at the same time as Dermaplaning? This treatment can be paired really lovely with Microneedling or a Chemical Peel. By having a Dermaplaning treatment first this will remove the top layer of the skin and then allows the second treatment to permeate deeper into the epidermis (layer of skin), therefore making the second treatment (Chemical Peel or Microneedling) more effective.

What is the difference between Dermaplaning and Microdermabrasion? Whilst they both exfoliate the skin, Dermaplaning removes the vellus hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cells from the surface.

Can I have a Dermaplaning treatment whilst Pregnant or Breastfeeding? Yes! Dermaplaning is one of the best treatments to have whilst pregnant or breastfeeding as it is chemical free. However, please do let us know so we can ensure aftercare products used are appropriate.

MICRONEEDLING

What is Microneedling? Microneedling in a safe, chemical free and minimally invasive technique. Collagen and elastin give skin its texture, structure and appearance. Microneedling increases the production of collagen by causing micro traumas to the skin. Microneedling treatment is performed using a Dermapen which uses small needles on the head, causing tiny punctures to the skin.

Does Microneedling hurt? Everyone's pain threshold is different. Microneedling isn't known to be a painful treatment but can cause some discomfort to the areas that are being treated. Your face will go red and occasionally there will be some areas that breakout with tiny amounts of blood, because we are causing micro traumas to the skin.

Do you use any anaesthetic? Microneedling does not require any anaesthetic or numbing cream. However, a topical anaesthetic can be used if you wish. If this is something you wish to use please obtain this from your pharmacist and apply before your treatment as directed.

How often can I have a Microneedling treatment? We recommend that clients have a minimum of 3-4 treatments to see the full benefits from Microneedling as it is a process, not a quick fix. We recommend having a treatment every 4-6 weeks.

Can I have Microneedling if Pregnant or Breastfeeding? We do not recommend this treatment to pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.

VITAMIN INJECTIONS

Why Vitamin Injections? Vitamin Injections are intra muscular, and therefore you have a higher absorption rate when compared to taking orally.

As the IV vitamins enter the bloodstream directly they are not only absorbed better, they are more suited to those with sensitive stomachs.

How often can I have a treatment? B12 - 2 treatments 4 weeks apart initially. Followed by 1 treatment every 8 weeks. Vitamin D - Every 3-6 months.

Vitamin C - TBC

Can I have too many Vitamin Injections? Vitamin B12 Injections are non-toxic and therefore it is extremely unlikely that you would be able to overdose from them.

Vitamin D contains a steroid, so we recommend you stick to the recommended 3-6 months.

Can I get withdrawals? It is important to understand that if you do not stay on top pf receiving B12 injections you will cause a quick relapse back to your original symptoms.

Can I have Vitamin Injections while Pregnant or Breastfeeding? At the moment we do not recommend this treatment to pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. We recommend that you consult your GP or Midwife for further guidance.
